Job summary

Yoke Food Industries in Malaysia is seeking an inventory control professional to manage stock levels and ensure data accuracy across warehouse operations. You will utilize reports to monitor stock, perform regular counts, and support cost-saving initiatives.

The role requires meticulous record-keeping and proactive discrepancy reporting to maintain smooth warehouse flow and timely reordering.

Responsibilities

• Utilize inventory management reports to track stock and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts to verify the accuracy of stock records.
• Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock counts, support and verify stock for all warehouse activities.
• Perform physical inventory counts periodically to ensure data records match actual inventory levels.
• Maintain detailed records of all inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing products.
• Track inventory and stock in real time.
• Report and analyse stock discrepancies promptly with supervisor and team.
• Implement efficient reordering processes to trigger alerts on the stock level before it runs out.
