Job summary

FFM Berhad is seeking a Warehouse Operations professional to assist in controlling, organizing, planning and monitoring general warehouse activities. The role emphasizes maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating monthly stock counts, and ensuring safe storage and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM or Diploma in Warehouse Operation & Inventory Management related will be an advantage.
At least 2 years of working in Warehouse Operation & Inventory Management will be an advantage.
Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, HAVI systems, Excel) for tracking stock levels, generating reports, and conducting audits.
Familiarity with barcode scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and basic equipment operation like forklifts.
Knowledge of stock control procedures, including receiving, issuing, and cycle counting.
Attention to detail ensures accurate inventory tracking and minimizes errors in stock counts and records. Strong organizational skills enable efficient arrangement of goods and systematic warehouse management. Problem-solving abilities help resolve discrepancies, delays, or shortages promptly.

Responsibilities

Assist in the controlling, organizing, planning and monitoring the Warehouse general operations.
Monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of all Inventory at the warehouse location.
To plan, coordinate and supervise Inventory stock counts monthly basis.
Supervise and analyse inventory balances and transactions. Prepare stock reconciliation report for management approval on monthly basis.
To pre plan for the on time delivery ( Local / Outstation ).
To issue Write On / Write Off on monthly basis ( for damaged / expire stock ).
To ensure statistical follow-up of all transactions at Warehouse locations and Inventory are well managed .
Support in proposing and controlling expenses/department budgets and manpower planning.
To coordinate on Lorry and Machinery Maintenance.
Monitor and measure receiving department performance for accuracy of location , receiving report , movement and storage of the materials.
To ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures, and oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and in a safe manner.
To monitor the flow of paperwork from receiving to ensure timely posting.
To ensure all warehouse equipment ( forklift / reach truck / hand pallet truck ) in good condition, in charge of repairing , maintenance and others.
To Monitor all trade return procedures comply with the SOP.
To carry out any other intructions as directed by the management and Branch Manager.
