Job summary

IP Group in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound activities, ensure accurate put-away, picking, packing and dispatch, and monitor SLA achievement. • Minimum 2–5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in a 3PL or contract logistics environment.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Exposure to inventory control and cycle counting.
• Experience in customer-focused logistics operations is an advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound, outbound, and storage activities.
• Ensure timely receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor order fulfillment to meet customer SLAs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor stock movements and update WMS accurately.
• Coordinate with transportation, customer service, procurement regarding shipment schedules.
• Prepare operational reports and daily warehouse performance updates.
• Supervise warehouse associates during daily operations when required and provide coaching.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, housekeeping, and ISO/customer/regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate daily inbound, outbound, and storage activities.
• Ensure timely receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor order fulfillment to meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Inventory Management

• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor stock movements and update Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately.
• Support monthly and annual stock take activities.

Operational Coordination

• Coordinate with transportation, customer service, procurement, and customers regarding shipment schedules.
• Prepare operational reports and daily warehouse performance updates.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and recommend process improvements.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Support

• Supervise warehouse associates during daily operations when required.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job guidance to warehouse staff.
• Ensure adequate manpower allocation based on operational requirements.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and warehouse regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices (5S).
• Report operational issues, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in a 3PL or contract logistics environment.
