Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Penang to oversee inventory control, optimize stock levels, and conduct regular audits. You will manage warehouse layout, supervise receiving, picking, packing and kitting, and ensure efficient space utilization.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Warehousing or related industries.
• Degree in Warehousing or related field required.
• Exposure to logistics planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing inventory control systems to track stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocks.
• Implementing inventory optimization techniques to reduce holding costs and improve turnover rates.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Managing warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Supervising warehouse staff, including receiving, picking, packing and kitting.
• Implementing and monitoring warehouse safety procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Monitoring warehouse expenses, such as labor, utilities, and equipment maintenance.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to reduce operational costs.
• Determine the specific kits required, the quantity of each kit, and the components to be included.
• Gather the necessary components and ensure they are in good condition.
• Assembly, packing the kits in appropriate containers, labeling them clearly. Inspect the kits to verify accuracy and completeness.

Position Requirement :

• At least 5 Years of working experience in the Warehousing or related industries
• Candidate should possess at least Degree in Warehousing or related field
• Preferably candidates specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent
• Good analytical approach and exposure to planning work shall be an advantage
• Computer literate, good working skills with Microsoft Office software
