Job summary

Forwardlog Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking a System Engineer to support the implementation and integration of warehouse automation software, focusing on WCS/WIS functionalities and meeting customer requirements.

You will prepare software blueprints, coordinate with developers for system integration, and assist with configuration, testing, commissioning, and user training across on-site customer environments in Malaysia. Experience with WMS/WCS and ERP systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

Degree in CS/IT/Automation or related field.
1–3 years of software implementation or system analysis experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Willing to travel to customer sites as needed.
Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop in-depth knowledge of WCS/WIS functionalities, configurations, and system workflows.
Gather and analyse customer operational and system requirements.
Translate customer requirements into software blueprints, functional specifications, and process flowcharts.
Identify gaps between customer requirements and existing software capabilities.
Coordinate with software developers on system integration, customisation, and enhancements.
Support software configuration, system testing (FAT/SAT/UAT), and commissioning.
Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support to customers.
Prepare system documentation and conduct user training.
