Job summary

Fuji SMBE Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an IT/Automation Support Technician to assist in implementing and maintaining our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and robotics-enabled material handling systems.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams on installation, configuration, testing, and ongoing troubleshooting, while building hands-on experience in smart manufacturing and factory-floor IT infrastructure in Johor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Strong interest in automation, robotics, and manufacturing systems; willing to work hands-on in factory and warehouse environments.
• Good troubleshooting, documentation, communication, teamwork, and learning skills.
• Relevant IT, system support, manufacturing, or warehouse automation experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with internships or strong practical projects welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and issue follow-up for WMS, AMR/AGV systems.
• Learn system setup, workflows, network requirements, troubleshooting, and maintenance; document configurations and operating procedures.
• Provide first-line IT/automation support; monitor system status, investigate alarms, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support LAN/Wi‑Fi connectivity, computers, servers, scanners, and connected devices under IT guidance.
• Assist with inspections and preventive maintenance; coordinate software, electrical, and mechanical issues with engineers and suppliers.
• Maintain incident, corrective-action, and configuration-change records; help users and prepare support documentation.
