Job summary

Forwardlog Automation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions. You will identify opportunities, shape sales strategies, and build a robust pipeline with key accounts.

Collaborating with engineering and product teams, you will develop compelling proposals, lead complex B2B negotiations, and close contracts while traveling as needed to engage customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science or Business.
• 2–3 years of B2B sales experience in warehouse automation or related tech.
• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and manage complex B2B sales cycles.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and develop strategic customer relationships.
• Understand customers' operational challenges and recommend suitable automation solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop solution proposals, system designs, and ROI justifications.
• Manage complex B2B sales cycles, including customer presentations, site visits, tender submissions, and commercial negotiations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and senior decision-makers.
• Lead commercial negotiations and successfully close contracts.
