Job summary

LUVIEW INDUSTRIES (M) SDN BHD is seeking a warehouse professional to manage daily operations, including receiving, issuing, storage and tracking of materials in Penang. You will ensure accurate records, inspect shipments, and coordinate with multiple departments to support timely deliveries.

The role requires forklift operation experience, strong organizing skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in stock utilisation and safety practices.

• Organise warehouse layouts and allocate storage locations.
• Maintain clean, safe storage environment; prevent fire, theft and moisture damage.
• Coordinate regular and annual stock takes and manage slow-moving items.
• Operate forklifts and perform loading, unloading, packing and material handling.
• Prepare monthly warehouse work plans and coordinate with other departments.

Job description

Plan and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, issuing, storage, and tracking materials, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely completion of operational targets.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate incoming shipments, unload and inspect goods for damage, verify quantities against purchase orders, and ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in the inventory system.

Regularly verify and maintain records of goods received and issued, purchase returns, and stock balances.

Prepare inventory reports, investigate stock discrepancies, and provide timely and accurate information to the team leader.

Organise warehouse layouts, allocate storage locations, and ensure proper material identification and labelling.

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe storage environment, with appropriate measures to prevent fire, theft, and moisture damage.

Coordinate regular and annual stock takes, monitor inventory levels, and follow up on defective and slow-moving materials to improve stock utilisation and reduce storage costs.

Operate forklifts and perform hands‑on warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, packing, repacking, and material handling as required.

Prepare monthly warehouse work plans, review and analyse previous performance, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth daily operations

Assign and coordinate daily warehouse tasks, monitor work progress, and be willing to work overtime when necessary to support urgent deliveries and operational requirements.

About you

Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, stock management, and material handling.

Familiarity with inventory reconciliation, stock variance investigation, and annual stock‑taking procedures.

Able to prepare reports, analyse inventory data, identify discrepancies, and resolve operational issues independently.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain proper warehouse layouts, accurate inventory records, and a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.

Forklift operating experience is a must.

Forklift certification is an added advantage.

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with different departments.
