Job summary

SANY Group Penang Branch is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support spare parts inventory and logistics operations at the Penang service outlet. You will handle inbound/outbound tasks, perform stock checks, and assist in process improvements while maintaining 6S compliance.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree and strong communication in Chinese, English, and Malay, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Prior experience in warehouse management is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, strong sense of responsibility, meticulous, and patient.
• Proficient in listening and writing in Chinese, English, and Malay.
• Ability to work independently and handle daily operational issues with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inbound & Outbound Operations – manage spare parts receiving, issuing, returns, disposal, and ensure accurate system records.
• Exception Handling – investigate quantity discrepancies, damaged goods, system errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Inventory Management – conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts, analyze variances, and maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Stock Replenishment – monitor stock levels and coordinate service reordering to ensure spare parts availability.
• Logistics Coordination – follow up with HQ warehouse on shipment status and ensure timely delivery.
• Warehouse Improvement – support warehouse space optimization and process improvement initiatives.
• Administrative Support – assist with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks at the service outlet.
• 6S Compliance – maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Documentation & Ad-hoc Tasks – maintain proper filing and support other duties assigned by the supervisor.
