Job summary

Koalala Malaysia Sdn Bhd is hiring a Warehouse Assistant / Packer (E-Commerce) to support daily operations in our Penang warehouse. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, performing quality checks, and conducting stock takes to keep inventory accurate.

The role requires reading basic English, operating simple devices like scanners and PDAs, and being comfortable standing for long periods. Attitude and reliability are prioritized.

Qualifications

• No education requirement – we hire based on attitude.
• Must have own transport.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods, especially during packing.
• Able to read and understand basic English instructions.
• Able to operate simple electronic devices (scanner, PDA, computer).

Responsibilities

• Pick & Pack: Pick items according to customer orders and pack them properly for shipment.
• Quality Check (QC): Check goods for defects, damage, or quality issues before shipment.
• Stock Take: Conduct regular stock counts to ensure actual stock matches the system records.
• Receiving & Replenishment: Check incoming goods against purchase orders and arrange items properly in the storage area.
• Cross-department Coordination: Work closely with other departments (Purchasing, Customer Service, etc.) when needed.

Job Requirements:

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with 30 minutes of compulsory paid overtime (OT) until 6:00 PM.
