Responsible for overseeing, managing and ensuring receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations are in place and comply with policies and standard operation procedures. The role involves ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, training and managing a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.

Key responsibilities

Oversee, manage and ensure receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations are in place and comply with policies and standard operation procedures

Take care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters

Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency

Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

Review and prepare workflows, space allocations, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity and quality

Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations

Continuously improve the service level, speed of work and cost effectiveness of inventory management, warehousing, incoming and outgoing operations

Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies

Produce timely reports and documentation to track production progress

About you

Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word

Experience in warehouse operations for more than 4 years

Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls

Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced setting

Willing to travel to HQ at Kelana Business Centre, PJ (travel allowance provided)

Experience in food industry are added advantages

Knowledge of warehousing KPIs are added advantages
