Job summary

OSREN (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Operator in Kuala Lumpur to support day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving and storage of goods, inventory control, order fulfilment, packing, stock movement, product preparation and general upkeep. Safe forklift operation, attention to detail and adherence to safety and inventory practices are essential.

The role requires basic English/Bahasa Malaysia literacy, readiness for manual duties, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Able to operate a forklift safely and confidently in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming goods against delivery documents; inspect for damages or discrepancies and report issues.
• Unload shipments, move stock to designated storage locations, ensure proper labelling and organisation.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventory checks and update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS); investigate discrepancies.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
• Pick, verify and pack customer orders accurately; label packages with shipping details and barcodes; prepare orders for dispatch and assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
• Operate forklifts and authorised material-handling equipment safely; perform pre-use safety checks and report equipment defects.
• Assemble or prepare products according to specifications and ensure quality standards before release.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation of warehouse areas; follow PPE and safety procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse and facility tasks and support team members during high-volume periods.

• Previous warehouse, logistics or inventory handling experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator training/certification or recognised competency training preferred; candidates with relevant operating experience advantageous.
• Able to operate a forklift safely and confidently in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS) are an advantage.
• Able to read and understand basic English and/or Bahasa Malaysia for work instructions, labels and documentation.
• Physically fit for manual warehouse duties; good attention to detail; responsible and punctual; able to work independently and in a team.
• Awareness of workplace safety, housekeeping and proper stock-handling practices.
