Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang is hiring for a warehouse operative on a 1-year contract (renewable). You will receive, check and store goods, pick and pack orders, prepare items for delivery and perform stock checks in a fast-paced environment.

Working hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The role requires ability to lift, manual handling, and a willingness to work without air conditioning; forklift certification is advantageous, medical insurance is provided,

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately in a warehouse.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store incoming goods.
• Pick and pack items according to orders.
• Prepare goods for delivery and shipment.
• Perform stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Handle loading and unloading of goods and other general warehouse duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards in the warehouse.

Job description

Contract: 1 year (Renewable)

Basic Salary: RM1,700 – RM1,900 (based on experience)

Attendance Allowance: RM100/month

(Not entitled if emergency leave, sick leave, or late attendance is recorded)

Annual Leave: 8 days throughout contract period (Prorate)

(Leave must be applied at least 3 days in advance)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key responsibilities

Perform stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy

Requirements:

Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work

Willing to work in a warehouse without air-conditioning

Able to perform manual handling tasks

Responsible, punctual and able to follow instructions

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic understanding of warehouse operations is an advantage

Forklift or Reach Truck certification/license is an advantage
