Job summary

ULTIMATE MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS (M) SDN. BHD. in Penang seeks a Warehouse Operator to own the flow of goods, move, sort, package, and label inventory with precise reporting.

The role requires forklift operation, stock transfers between facilities, and logs management; ERP/SAP experience is preferred. Overtime, night, weekends may be required to meet audits and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in warehouse management or equipment with 3 years’ hands on experience.
• Experience in ERP / SAP system.
• License or certification to operate heavy machinery (Forklift). Optional Class D license.
• Able to pass drug test/background check and physically able to lift.
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift.
• Able to work overtime, night, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with inventory software and able to upload data into the company system.
• Sustains corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.
• Able to work independently and multi-tasking.
• Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory.
• Highly organized and able to store items efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials across facilities. Process inventory for delivery.
• Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location.
• Inspect items to ensure they’re not damaged or faulty.
• Package items and label correctly. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
• Scan delivered items and ensured desired quality and quantity.
• Stack and organize large bulk items.
• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to proper location.
• Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
• Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other location.
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
• Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards for aisles.
• Maintain good housekeeping all the time in warehouse.
• Report any discrepancies immediately.
• Work as an active team member to complete the team goals.
• Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
• Any other task assigned by management.
