Job summary

IFF in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. You will receive, check, label and store incoming goods, issue materials to production, and perform SAP transactions to keep accurate records.

This onsite role requires at least 2 years in warehousing, basic SAP/WMS knowledge, and the ability to work with production and external providers to ensure timely transfers. Forklift license is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or store operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Able to perform material handling, stock receiving, storage and inventory tasks accurately.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to follow procedures and instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with ability to work on shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth material movement and storage activities.
• Receive, check, label, and store incoming goods according to warehouse procedures.
• Issue raw materials and other items to production accurately and on time.
• Perform SAP transactions and maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production and external warehouse providers to ensure timely material transfers and deliveries.
• Conduct lorry and tanker weighing activities and complete required checklists and records.
• Assist with stock counting, cycle counts, and annual inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
• Follow all warehouse SOPs, safety requirements, and company policies in daily operations.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S) and meet assigned KPIs; carry out additional duties as assigned.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

Support daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth material movement and storage activities.

Receive, check, label, and store incoming goods according to warehouse procedures.

What Makes You the Right Fit

Basic knowledge of SAP or warehouse management systems is preferred.
