Job summary

SMP MEDTECH SDN BHD is hiring a Warehouse Assistant in the Logistics & Warehouse Department. The role involves hands-on paperwork, system recording, labeling, and packing duties with inventory management using PDA scanners and coordination with Production, Quality, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities include verifying documents, updating records, stock counting, packing, labeling, and ensuring smooth material flow for production lines. Mandarin language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse documentation, stock recording, or packing operations.
• Good attention to detail for handling paperwork and labeling.
• Ability to work with team members and internal departments.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage / plus point.

Responsibilities

• Verify receiving and shipping documents, generate inventory records, obtain signatures for stock delivery, and maintain accurate daily paperwork filing.
• Package finished goods properly, re-pack products, label boxes correctly, and arrange items onto pallets ready for dispatch.
• Inspect incoming items, scan goods into system locations using a PDA scanner, and issue raw materials to production lines.
• Assist with regular stock takes, cycle counts, temperature and humidity recording, and 5S warehouse cleanliness.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate material dispatch with Production Planning, alignment with Quality Control, document signing with Finance, and import/export data with Customs.
• Process Improvement: Participate in inventory cost control, workflow optimizations, and packing assistance.
