Job summary

SysMac is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Johor Bahru to support inventory management and material movement for manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and compliance with ISO 9001 standards while maintaining organized warehouse operations.

You will handle receiving, documentation, ERP entries, and stock control, ensuring proper storage, records, and timely outbound movements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• SPM/Certificate/Diploma in logistics, warehousing or related field.
• ISO 9001 or similar quality system auditing experience.
• Ability to communicate in simple English cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Receive items with documents, follow procedures and instructions.
• Notify discrepancies during receiving/outbound items.
• Ensure materials are outbound as required and storage area is maintained.
• Escalate safety or process issues to supervisor/manager.
• Assist with packing, palletizing and related logistics for stock movement.
• Maintain records of incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Update inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Comply with ISO 9001 and warehouse safety regulations.
• Follow safety/hygiene guidelines and keep the warehouse organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant at SIT-JB to support warehouse operations by handling inventory management, material movement, and documentation. The role ensures smooth material flow for manufacturing processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities of the job)

• Ensure receiving items are correct and complete with the accompanying documents and strictly following the documented work Instruction and Procedures.
• Notify any discrepancy during receiving & outbound items.
• Ensure material are outbound as required.
• Ensure that the storage area and the goods are properly maintained.
• Escalate to Supervisor/ Manager if found concern on safety issues or potential breakdown in warehouse process gaps that may lead to inventory inaccuracy, quality of the materials and delivery during receiving and materials issuing.
• Packing & Palletizing and related logistics assistance for movement of stocks/ products.
• Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Update inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and warehouse safety regulations.
• Follow workplace safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Other duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements:

• SPM / Certificate / Diploma in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
• Basic knowledge of inventory control, stock movement, and warehouse best practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred but not required)
• Self-motivated, highly resourceful, and organized.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• ISO 9001 or similar quality system auditing experience.
• Ability to communicate simple English cross-functionally.
