Job summary

APRPM is seeking a Material Handler/Warehouse person in Malaysia. You will manage the flow of materials from warehouse to shopfloor and support cycle counts, safety, and quality practices.

Responsibilities include moving raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods between areas, handling chemicals and waste, and maintaining ERP data accuracy while coordinating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Understand basic manufacturing processes and how inventory interacts with upstream and downstream
• Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor and input ERP data
• Able to work with multiple priorities and people
• Ability to communicate professionally with others

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, chemicals and by-products from warehouse to shopfloor
• Transfer semi-finish products from cell to cleaning area and recycle carts/totes
• Move finished products from secondary packing to warehouse shipper area
• Transfer machining fluids to production areas for staging
• Move waste and replace drums as needed
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to meet safety regulations
• Assist in receiving and FG activities and cycle counts
• Maintain safe and quality work ethics in all tasks

About the job Material Handler/Warehouse

About our client : This company is a portfolio medical technology business focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue.

Role Overview:

Material Handler a.k.a "Water-Spider" is responsible for the overall direct/indirect material movement from warehouse to shopfloor (vice versa) on a timely manner to ensure a seamless manufacturing operation. The role require ability to understand work orders, physical ability to handle material handling equipment, able to perform as a team and communicate as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understand basic manufacturing process and how supply inventory control interacts with upstream and downstream functions.
• Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor and input ERP system data.
• Able to work with multiple priorities and people.
• Ability to professionally communicate and work with others.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall movement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, chemicals and by-products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Transfer semi-finish products from cell to cleaning area and recycle the carts/totes accordingly
• Transfer the Finished product from secondary packing stations to Warehouse shipper box packing station
• Transfer machining fluids from chemical store to cells into the production areas to be staged into the cells and within the factory
• Transfer plastic/metal waste from cells to Schedule Waste area and replace empty drums/plastics on the collection drums at each cell
• Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain and setup new product totes as per requirement Assist receiving and FG activities i.e. load in/out pallets
• Assist in cycle count activities
• Maintains a safe & quality work ethics in all assigned tasks

Qualification:

• Candidate must possess at least a SecondarySchool / SPM / STPM / Certification / Diploma
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Experience: 1 to 3 years' experience in Contract Logistic or Warehousing
• Licenses/ Certifications: - MHE Licenses will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Required skill(s): SAP or ERP knowledge will be an added advantage

Competences:

• Material Handling Equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, EPJ, ERP (SAP, WMS & Others, Data Entry Skills, Inventory Control, Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management).
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Physical Demands: Able to fast pick up and ability to walk quickly and to Carry not more than 20kg weight.
