Job summary

KLA-Tencor (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Customer Support Engineer based at Kulim to perform field service tasks for highly complex equipment in customer wafer fabs. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues, and help install or upgrade systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules to minimize downtime, delivering customer orientation and technical training, and preparing detailed service reports for cross-functional teams. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 2-5 years of field service experience, preferably in cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Willing to travel on short notice and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair highly complex equipment at customer wafer fab facility.
• Resolve installation and upgrading problems.
• Coordinate equipment schedules to minimize downtime.
• Conduct customer orientation and technical training on maintenance.
• Prepare field service reports and share documentation with other supporting functions.
