Job summary

KLA-Tencor (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an Engineer to provide frontline technical support for Frontline software, ensuring customer satisfaction and reliable operation.

The role requires PCB-related experience, strong communication, and collaboration across departments, with travel across Southeast Asia as needed. You will install, upgrade, troubleshoot, document issues, and coordinate with R&D, Sales, Product Management, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's /Master's Level Degree and PCB related work experience of 3-5 years.
• Proven experience in technical support, software troubleshooting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years working experience in PCB industry. Familiarity with PCB CAM solution is a major plus.
• Strong understanding of software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for Frontline software, including installation, version upgrades, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering timely and effective solutions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Document and elevate complex technical issues and feature requests to the R&D team for further investigation and resolution.
• Collaborate closely with regional Sales Managers to support business development and ensure seamless customer onboarding and retention.
• Partner with Product Management and Marketing teams to address escalated technical matters and contribute to product improvement initiatives.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the support system.
• Willing to be based in Malaysia and frequently travel to other Southeast Asian countries to provide on-site technical support and customer service for regional customers as required by business needs.
