Job summary

Centific is seeking a hands-on hardware QA tester to execute functional, performance, and reliability tests on VR hardware systems in our labs. You will spend significant time in the hardware testing lab, using basic Python and ADB commands to support daily testing.

You will track materials with spreadsheets, communicate status to management, and help maintain confidentiality around unreleased products. Jira is used for defect tracking and verification of fixes.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, performance, and reliability test cases for VR hardware systems.
• Assist in daily management of the hardware testing lab; track testing materials and instruments using spreadsheets.
• Communicate proactively with management, providing real-time updates on testing status, project changes, and daily progress.
• Demonstrate a friendly, approachable, and team-oriented personality, fostering a positive working environment.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding unreleased products, strictly refraining from discussing work topics outside of the project team.
• Identify hardware and system-level bugs, capture detailed logs, and utilize Jira for rigorous defect tracking and verification of fixes.
• Operate hardware testing equipment and utilize basic Python and ADB commands to support daily testing.
