Job summary

Centific Global Solutions is seeking a Hardware Test Lead to drive testing and validation of VR, AI, and wearable NPI products in a fast-paced hardware lab. The role combines hands-on testing with technical leadership across hardware, firmware, software, and quality teams.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, develop and review test plans, and manage defects in Jira while mentoring junior engineers. EVT/DVT/PVT and production readiness support are key priorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hardware testing or system validation experience.
• Hands-on hardware validation for NPI products and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and verification.
• Familiarity with Android/Linux ADB and Python scripting.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; mentoring preferred.

Hardware Test Lead - VR / AI NPI Products

Malaysia Centific is seeking a Hardware Test Lead to support the testing and validation of VR, AI, and wearable NPI products. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for coordinating testing activities, driving hardware validation, troubleshooting issues, and supporting junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

Lead and coordinate functional, performance, reliability, and system-level hardware testing.

Develop and review test plans, test cases, and validation coverage.

Coordinate daily testing activities and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Drive hardware/system debugging, failure analysis, and root-cause investigation.

Manage defects in Jira, including bug tracking, verification, and closure.

Work with hardware, firmware, software, and quality teams to resolve issues.

Support NPI validation activities, including EVT, DVT, PVT, and production readiness.

Track testing progress, risks, and blockers, and provide regular updates to management.

Operate hardware lab equipment and support lab/test-unit management.

Use ADB, Android/Linux commands, and basic Python scripting for testing and troubleshooting.

About you

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in hardware testing, system validation, or product validation.

Hands-on experience with hardware validation and NPI products.

Good understanding of testing methodologies, debugging, and failure analysis.

Experience with Jira, Android/Linux ADB, and basic Python.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Previous experience as a Test Lead, Technical Lead, or Senior Test Engineer (preferred).

Experience mentoring junior engineers (preferred).

Experience with EVT/DVT/PVT or NPI phases (preferred).
