Job summary

Centific is seeking a hands-on Hardware Test Engineer to join our Penang lab, focusing on functional, performance and reliability testing for VR hardware systems. You will manage the testing lab daily, track materials in spreadsheets, and communicate testing status with management in real time.

The role requires meticulous documentation, confidentiality about unreleased products, and hands-on operation of testing equipment, with basic Python and ADB command usage to support daily activities.

Qualifications

Experience in hardware testing lab operations.
Proficient in tracking materials with spreadsheets.
Ability to capture logs and communicate updates.
Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased products.

Responsibilities

Execute functional, performance and reliability test cases for VR hardware systems.
Assist in daily management of hardware testing lab; track materials with spreadsheets.
Provide proactive status updates to management on testing progress and changes.
Foster a friendly, team-oriented environment when interacting with colleagues and leaders.
Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased products.
Identify hardware and system-level bugs; capture logs and verify fixes using Jira.
Operate hardware testing equipment and use Python and ADB commands to support daily tests.
