United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Corporate Banking professional to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. You will evaluate loan applications, conduct credit reviews, and deliver financing solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will identify clients' financing needs, cross-sell a broad range of banking products, and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers.

Formación

• Proven track record in corporate banking or similar commercial banking roles.
• Strong credit assessment and financial analysis capabilities.
• Experience in originating and managing credit facilities and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Description

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate banking clients, including evaluating loan applications, conducting credit reviews, and delivering appropriate financing solutions.
• Identify clients' financing needs and cross-sell a broad range of banking products and services to maximise portfolio profitability.
• Monitor portfolio performance, facility utilisation, asset quality, and profitability while ensuring prudent risk management.
• Build strong client relationships and establish yourself as a trusted banking advisor to corporate customers.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of business contacts, industry players, and referral sources to generate business opportunities.
• Negotiate financing structures and pricing to achieve optimal returns while meeting clients' requirements.
• Deliver assigned business, revenue, asset growth, and customer acquisition targets with speed and quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
• Keep abreast of market developments, industry trends, and economic conditions affecting clients and their businesses.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in corporate banking, commercial banking, business banking, or corporate sales within the financial services industry.
• Strong experience in originating and managing credit facilities, financing solutions, and corporate client relationships.
• Strong credit assessment, financial analysis, and risk management capabilities.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a client-facing sales environment.
• Excellent business acumen with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, resilient, and capable of building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, KYC/CDD requirements, and compliance standards.
