Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Corporate Banking professional to manage a portfolio of corporate clients, evaluate loan applications, and conduct credit reviews in a sales-driven environment. You will monitor facility utilisation, build strong client relationships, and identify opportunities for financing and cross-selling.

The role requires a recognised degree, strong interest in financial planning, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

• Responsible for managing a portfolio (Corporate clients) including evaluating their loan applications, conducting credit reviews, marketing and cross‑selling a wide range of banking products and services
• Monitor overall facility utilisation and profitability of the assigned portfolio
• Build rapport and develop meaningful networking to maintain account relationships with both existing and prospective clients
• Build client loyalty by establishing a trusted advisor relationship, as ’The Trusted Banker to call’
• Identify clients’ needs and capture new financing and / or cross selling opportunities; negotiate for best margins to optimise profitability
• Deliver both in terms of speed and quality for all KPIs assigned
• Ensure accuracy on customer due diligence (“CDD”) and Know Your Customer (“KYC”)

Job Requirements

• Has a strong interest in financial planning, investment and keen to work in a sales driven environment
