Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Bancassurance Sales & Relationship Manager to drive life insurance product sales through bank branches, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role involves coaching bankers on sales techniques, overseeing KYC processes, and generating reports on branch performance for senior management. Relevant PCE/CEILI qualifications and 3–7 years in bancassurance are preferred.

Qualifications

• A recognized diploma / degree in any field.
• PCE & CEILI qualification.
• Minimum 3-7 years of working experience in Bancassurance/Insurance/Banking Sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to sell life insurance products through bank branches.
• Act as a liaison between the bank and the insurance company.
• Train or coach bankers on insurance products, underwriting processes, and sales techniques.
• Ensure sales processes comply with regulatory guidelines; monitor KYC norms and prevent mis-selling.
• Track sales performance across branches; prepare reports for senior management.
• Guide bankers to address customer queries and assist with renewals, claims and policy servicing.
