Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Marine & Technical Coordinator to support superintendents by coordinating vessel maintenance, compliance, and operations. The role ensures effective vessel-to-shore communication and streamlines fleet management activities.

You will assist in managing fleet maintenance, plan surveys and inspections, coordinate with vessels, office teams and onshore operations, and support procurement and documentation to keep vessels ready and compliant.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of marine classification rules and standards is preferred.
• Experience in marine coordination or vessel operations within ship management or maritime environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Marine and Technical Superintendents in managing fleet maintenance, compliance, and operational tasks to ensure vessel readiness and regulatory adherence
• Coordinate communication between vessels, office teams, and onshore operations to facilitate timely information flow and issue resolution
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate vessel Class surveys, dry-dockings, and statutory inspections to maintain compliance with classification society requirements
• Manage procurement workflows for technical stores, spare parts, and marine equipment to support uninterrupted vessel operations
• Facilitate crew movements, vessel documentation, and port agency coordination to support daily operational needs and smooth vessel turnaround
