AIG Malaysia Insurance Berhad is seeking an Underwriter – Financial Lines in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on providing specialty underwriting for Financial Lines with a strong emphasis on accuracy and client service.

You will collaborate with producers and brokers, manage renewals and new business, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of underwriting experience in Financial Lines or Casualty and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite Financial Lines (D&O, POSI, PI, Cyber and Crime Insurance) and perform related administrative tasks.
• Establish professional relationships with producers, brokers, agents and direct clients.
• Renewals and new business to achieve department budget and maintain compliance with guidelines.
• Support marketing activities and contribute to seminars and product training.

Overall Job Purpose

Financial Lines (FL) Underwriting Analyst and business administrative functions, including D&O, POSI, PI, Cyber and Crime Insurance.

Establish Professional and Close Relationship with our producers, including Brokers, Agents and Direct Clients. Comply with all Product Lines Underwriting Guidelines. Responsible for Renewal and New Business in order to achieve department budget. Comply with Corporate Guidelines, Underwriting Guidelines, as well as AIG, Regulatory and Legal Compliances. Responsible for Outstanding Premium. Assist with product enquiries from our producers and clients. Assist with Marketing Activities include Brokers Meeting, Client Meetings, Attending Seminar and Products Training. Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Direct Report Manager and Department Head.

What we’re looking for:

• Tertiary degree
• Good command of English – spoken and written ‘5 + years of Underwriting experience’ (Financial Lines, Casualty, FL/Casualty Claims)
• Inquisitive and willing to learn.
• Team Player, strong communication and interpersonal skill.
