Job summary

AIG Shared Services (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a focused professional to support the Multinational Network and ensure timely, compliant execution of Tier 3 and 4 programs while coordinating with Producing Offices, brokers and Shared Service Processing Teams.

The role includes training Underwriters on Multinational processes and MN tool usage, managing escalated issues, and collaborating with global and regional teams to improve service delivery.

• Provide support to Product and Multinational Network to ensure timely and compliant delivery of Tier 3/4 programs.
• Manage communication with Producing Offices, brokers/clients and Shared Service Processing Teams.
• Act as trainer for Underwriters on Multinational processes and use of MN application and tools.
• Monitor and elevate service issues; serve as a resource for resolution of escalated issues.
• Engage with Multinational Service Delivery and AIG Operations to address issues and share best practices.
• Identify training needs and communicate to management; train Underwriters on Multinational processes.

Job description

Provide support to Product and Multinational Network to ensure timely and compliant delivery of Standard (Tier 3&4) multinational programs and non-multinational placements that utilize the AIG Multinational network. Manage communication and relationship with Producing Offices, brokers/clients and Shared Service Processing Teams. Act as trainer for Underwriters/Underwriter Assistants on the Multinational process and effective use of MN application and tools.

How you will create an impact

• Work closely with underwriters and AIG MN Network to ensure Tier 3 & 4 programs meet customer need/expectation and are executed in accordance with global and local regulations and service standards.
• Monitor and elevate service issues as required. Serves as a team resource for the resolution of escalated issues.
• The job involves liaising between Product and AIG Multinational Network
• Active participation and engagement with the Multinational Service Delivery and AIG Operations Teams to ensure issues are addressed and best practices are shared.
• Identify and communicate to management areas where underwriters require additional training to allow a more effective operation. Act as trainer for Underwriters on the Multinational process and effective use of MN application and tools.
• Manage communication and relationship with Producing Offices, brokers/clients and Shared Service Processing Teams.
• Provide support to global, regional, and country Multinational teams as and when required.
• Adhere to corporate Tier 3 & 4s and requirements per L1 SOS are met including those related to (21) L1SOS Sales Practices, (22) L1SOS Policy Administration (23) L1SOS Complaint Handling (32) L1SOS Product Development, (33) L1SOS Marketing, (37) L1SOS Underwriting
• Manage personal workflow.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience in dealing with Multinational / Global / Captive insurance programmes.
• Experience in Commercial Insurance / Asia Pac Business Environment and Insurance Regulation.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work and meet deadlines
• Must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following skills:
• Analytical, Customer service, Interpersonal, Ability to negotiate and clearly articulate ideas and influence outcomes, Change Management, Communication and PC skills, Process re-engineering, Demonstrate the ability to identify operational improvements and gain technical knowledge / experience to carry out those improvements.
