Job summary

ADVANCED DEFENCE SYSTEMS SDN BHD is seeking a Safety Officer to embed safety compliance across UAS field operations, ensuring flight and ground activities meet OSHA 1994 and client HSE standards.

You will develop and enforce HSE plans, conduct risk assessments, liaise with client HSE, investigate incidents, run toolbox talks, and maintain documentation for tenders and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce HSE plans for UAS flight operations and site works
• Conduct risk assessments for flights before job execution
• Liaise with client HSE departments and integrate into plant Permit-to-Work systems
• Investigate incidents/near-misses and prepare corrective action reports
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and PPE compliance checks for field teams
• Maintain HSE documentation for tender and audit requirements
• Handle assigned tasks from time to time

Job description

The Safety Officer is responsible for embedding safety compliance across UAS field operations, ensuring flight and ground activities meet OSHA 1994 and client HSE standards, and preventing incidents before they happen.

Key responsibilities
