About the role

We are seeking a Junior Executive, Project Engineer (Protege-RTW) to join ADVANCED DEFENCE SYSTEMS SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. This is a contract position that offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring engineer to gain practical experience in project engineering within the defence and advanced systems sector. You will work on challenging projects that contribute to the development of cutting-edge defence technologies, playing a vital role in supporting our project delivery objectives. This role provides exposure to real-world engineering challenges and the opportunity to develop your professional capabilities under the mentorship of experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, design and execution of engineering projects, working closely with senior project engineers and project managers
• Assist in the development and review of technical documentation, including project specifications, design drawings and engineering reports
• Participate in project meetings, site inspections and technical reviews to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical issues and challenges throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the coordination of resources, schedules and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track
• Conduct research and analysis to support engineering solutions and project decision-making
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities, progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement and quality assurance to deliver project objectives
• Support the implementation of quality assurance and safety standards across all project activities
