CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced driver to operate dump, tanker, or mixer trucks at construction sites in Malaysia. You will transport materials, water, fuel, or concrete to designated locations, conduct daily inspections, and ensure loads are correct and within limits.
Safe driving and timely deliveries are essential, with overtime and outdoor work common. The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a valid GDL Class E licence.
Operate a dump truck, tanker truck, or mixer truck safely and efficiently at construction sites.
Transport materials, water, fuel, or concrete to designated locations according to instructions.
Conduct daily pre-start inspection of the assigned vehicle and report any defects or abnormalities.
Ensure the vehicle is properly loaded and does not exceed the permitted load capacity.
Follow designated routes, site traffic rules, and safety procedures.
For mixer trucks, ensure concrete is properly mixed and delivered within the required time.
For tanker trucks, ensure the safe handling and transportation of water, fuel, or other approved materials.
For dump trucks, safely load, transport, and discharge construction materials at designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness and the basic condition of the vehicle.
Record daily vehicle usage, trips, mileage, and other required information.
Report accidents, breakdowns, damage, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
Carry out basic vehicle checks and housekeeping as required.
Perform other duties related to vehicle operation as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Dump Truck, Tanker, or Mixer Truck Driver, preferably in the construction industry.
Must possess a valid GDL Class E (Berat Kejur) driving licence.
GDL Class E licence must be currently valid and not expired at the time of employment.
Experienced in operating heavy vehicles at construction sites.
Good understanding of heavy vehicle safety and daily vehicle inspection procedures.
Able to follow site traffic rules, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required by the project.
