Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to perform lifting and positioning tasks at construction sites in Malaysia. You will conduct pre-start inspections, follow lifting plans, and coordinate with riggers, signalmen and site supervisors to ensure safe, efficient crane operations.

The role requires 2–3 years of crane experience, a valid competency certificate or license, and the ability to work outdoors, including shifts and overtime as needed for projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating mobile cranes in the construction industry.
• Valid Mobile Crane Operator Competency Certificate / License recognised by the relevant Malaysian authority.
• Able to operate mobile cranes safely according to the manufacturer\'s operating limits and site requirements.
• Good understanding of lifting operations, load capacity, lifting radius and basic crane safety.
• Able to communicate and work effectively with riggers, signalmen and site supervisors.
• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites, including outdoor and shift work when required.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Experience in infrastructure, bridge, piling, precast or heavy construction works will be an advantage.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays according to project requirements.

• Perform other crane-related duties as assigned by management.
