CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a reliable Driver to safely transport passengers and materials to project sites across Malaysia. The role requires conducting regular vehicle inspections, ensuring secure loading, and maintaining delivery logs.
You will coordinate with site personnel and the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to company safety rules and policies. The candidate should be available for holidays and after-hours as needed to meet project demands.
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers (including site personnel, visitors, consultants, and management staff) and delivering materials, tools, supplies, or equipment to project sites in a timely and efficient manner. The Driver shall operate company vehicles in accordance with all road safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws, ensuring that all passengers and cargo reach their destinations safely.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checks on brakes, lights, tyres, and fluid levels, daily and report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to the Admin Department immediately.
Ensure that all goods or materials are securely loaded and unloaded, properly handled, and safely transported without damage or loss.
Assist with loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment as required by site personnel.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle service records.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
Coordinate with site personnel and the logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.
Adhere to the Company's Driver Policy and safety rules at all times.
Must be able to work on public holidays or after hours as operational needs demand.
