Truck Driver (Fresh Distribution Center)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join the team at Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Gopeng, Perak. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role is crucial to our warehousing, storage and distribution operations, directly contributing to our ability to serve our customers effectively.

Key responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to transport grocery goods to stores and warehouses.

Load and unload goods safely and verify the quantity and accuracy of items against delivery notes or invoices.

Deliver goods to designated retail outlets, warehouses, or customers according to scheduled delivery times.

Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any damage, defects, or maintenance issues.

Maintain accurate and complete delivery records, including fuel usage, travel distance, delivery times, and other required information.

Communicate effectively with delivery coordinators, store employees, and the logistics team to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

Comply with all road traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety guidelines at all times.

Handle and secure goods properly to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration during transportation and delivery.

Maintain the cleanliness, condition, and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle in accordance with company procedures.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a truck driver or in a related driving role.

Possess a valid GDL, CDL, or other relevant driving licences.

Maintain a good driving record with minimal or no moving violations.

No history of driving under the influence (DUI), reckless driving, or major traffic offences within the past 3–5 years.

Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles or trailers weighing over 10 tonnes.

Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively with coordinators, store employees, and the logistics team.
