Job summary

TT Freight Group Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a reliable truck driver to join our logistics team. You will drive long or short distances, deliver cargo safely and on time, and coordinate with the office on delivery details.

You will plan routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, load and unload cargo, and ensure proper documentation. You will also communicate professionally with customers and warehouse staff, and be prepared for outstation travel.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Driving License and GDL License.
• Willing and able to travel outstation for deliveries.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Job description

Transport Goods: Drive long or short distances to deliver cargo safely and on time.

Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery schedules.

Vehicle Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

Loading & Unloading: Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.

Documentation: Submit Delivery Orders (DO) to the office daily and ensure all documents are properly completed and handled.

Cargo Security: Ensure cargo is properly secured and safe throughout transit.

Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse staff regarding delivery and pickup details.

Requirements

Possess a valid Driving License and GDL License

Willing and able to travel outstation for deliveries

Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious

Able to perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
