The Storekeeper cum Lorry Driver is responsible for managing inventory, handling materials, and ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods. This role supports smooth production and logistics operations by maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating deliveries, and complying with safety and company procedures. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and flexibility to support operational needs.
Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming raw materials, packaging materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure accuracy and quality.
Maintain accurate inventory records through stock monitoring, physical counts, system updates, and proper storage practices.
Issue materials and supplies to production based on approved requests while ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy.
Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent production disruptions.
Organize and store materials systematically, ensuring proper labeling, easy retrieval, and a clean warehouse environment.
Ensure materials are stored and handled according to established procedures to maintain quality, safety, and usability.
Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow and timely availability of stock.
Manage defective, expired, or obsolete inventory and ensure proper disposal in accordance with company policies.
Operate company vehicles safely to transport and deliver materials and goods, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and vehicle maintenance checks.
Comply with all warehouse, transportation, health, safety, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate inventory, delivery, and transportation records, and support reporting and audit activities as required.
2–3 years of experience in storekeeping, logistics, or delivery operations preferred.
Valid Goods Driving License (GDL)
Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and attention to detail.
Abled body to lift, carry, and move materials.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
