Hytech is seeking a Treasury Manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee fund operations, cash management, and liquidity planning. You will ensure accurate reporting, reconciliations, and compliance while guiding the fund operations team.

As a senior role, you will establish policies, collaborate with auditors and regulators, and drive improvements through automation and AI-enabled insights to optimise liquidity and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience reviewing fund transactions and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of cash management systems, internal controls, and compliance.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese for business communication.
• Strong coordination, leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.

About the Role

As an Treasury Manager, you will oversee the fund management function, ensuring accurate cash and fund operations, compliance, and effective team leadership. This role partners with senior management to optimize liquidity, fund utilization, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall fund operations, cash management, and liquidity planning
• Ensure timely and accurate fund reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop the fund operations team
• Establish and enhance fund management policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, regulators, and business units
• Provide strategic recommendations for cash management and fund utilization
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
• Support management decision-making with financial analysis and fund insights

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience reviewing fund transactions and performing account reconciliations.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of cash management systems, internal controls, and compliance processes.
• Communication: Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese for business communication and documentation purposes.
• Soft Skills: Strong coordination, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates the ability and mindset to leverage AI tools to improve work efficiency, productivity, and quality, while continuously exploring new ways to enhance business impact.
