Job summary

Hytech is seeking a Treasury Manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee fund operations, cash management, and liquidity planning. You will ensure accurate reporting, reconciliations, and compliance while guiding the fund operations team.

As a senior role, you will establish policies, collaborate with auditors and regulators, and drive improvements through automation and AI-enabled insights to optimise liquidity and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience reviewing fund transactions and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of cash management systems, internal controls, and compliance.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese for business communication.
• Strong coordination, leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund operations, cash management and liquidity planning.
• Ensure timely fund reporting, reconciliations and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the fund operations team.
• Establish and enhance fund management policies, procedures and controls.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators and business units.
• Provide strategic cash management recommendations.
• Drive process improvements, automation and system enhancements.
• Support management decisions with financial analysis and fund insights.
