Responsibilities

• Research and model securities to explore the application of existing strategies to new products.
• Conduct quantitative analysis of data and perform analysis to refine strategies.
• Communicate relevant news, market events, and system behavior clearly and concisely to team members.
• Monitor fintech systems, analyze data, and identify potential opportunities or risks.
• Develop new models and strategies through research and financial data analysis.
• Use math models and statistical methods to study market behavior, find patterns, and predict price changes, to improve pricing strategies.
• Challenge established methodologies and strategies to contribute to the team's advancement.
• Ensure stable, accurate and timely quotation of all products, achieving industry-leading quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in quantitative research/analysis with a focus on machine learning, algorithms, optimization, time-series analysis or statistics.
• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A deep curiosity of analysing large data sets using statistical methods.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Preferably having relevant experience in the fintech industry.
• Ability to adapt, self-motivate, take on challenges, and thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.
