Job summary

Hytech in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Professional to join our team and lead accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. You will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, intercompany and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate records following accounting standards.

The role also involves preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, liaising with auditors, improving internal controls,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 4+ years in accounting/finance; 1+ year supervisory.
• Proficient in ERP (Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Strong English and Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, intercompany and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant statutory requirements and financial standards.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including review of tax computations and submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Enhance internal control systems and continuously improve financial processes and policies.
• Support budget preparation, monitor departmental spending and provide analysis.
• Analyzing management accounts and financial statements to support business decision-making.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Perform all other related assignments or ad hoc tasks as assigned by the superior or management from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including review of tax computations and submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Enhance internal control systems and continuously improvements for financial processes and policies.
• Support budget preparation, monitor departmental spending and provide analysis.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication for cross-department collaboration.
• Take initiative, ability to work under pressure, able to meet deadlines, meticulous, strong organized, team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skill in English and Chinese.
