Job summary

POH TIONG CHOON LOGISTICS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to prepare and monitor daily operations and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries. You will monitor import/export TT schedules, deploy drivers for container and tank deliveries, and communicate via messaging platforms.

Candidates should have good English and preferably Mandarin, with strong problem-solving and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor the progress of daily operations.
• Monitor TT schedules for import and export movements.
• Deploy drivers for container and tank deliveries through messaging systems, mobile communication and other relevant platforms.
• Coordinate with drivers and relevant parties to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Monitor daily transportation activities and follow up on operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with road safety requirements and promote safe driving practices.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Preferably able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.

Responsible, alert and safety-conscious.

Computer literate and comfortable using messaging and mobile communication platforms.

Previous experience in logistics, transportation or operations will be an added advantage.

Working hours/Working locations:

Monday to Friday (08:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
