• Minimum 2 years’ experience in trade marketing management.
• Minimum 1 year in managing Watsons/ Guardian Trade Marketing Plan.
• Diploma in Business Studies/Marketing or related discipline.
• Excellent Mandarin language skills written and spoken.
• Strong English and Malay communication abilities.
• Proven track record in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop trade strategies and execute the Trade Marketing Plan aligned with sales and marketing objectives.
• Develop and implement channel-specific marketing plans for assigned retailers.
• Manage trade marketing budget and ensure expenses align with revenue targets.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to roll out in-store campaigns and expand distribution.
• Monitor external factors and competitors’ activities within the channel and category.
• Improve brand presence through in-store planning, execution and tracking.
• Plan Joint Quarterly Marketing Plan and Joint Business Plans (TTL, ATL, BTL).
• Coordinate in-store events and roadshows; ensure timely client interactions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution and market intelligence.

Job description

Responsible for developing trade strategies and executing the Trade Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives, to drive growth in market shares.

Developing and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers.

Managing the trade marketing budget & ensure the sales achievement’s budget matches expenses allocations.

Work closely with the sales team & marketing team to roll out impactful in-store campaigns and expand the distribution channel.

Continuous understanding on external factors and competitors’ activities of the channel & category.

Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities.

To plan Joint Quarterly Marketing Plan.

To plan Joint Business Plan, TTL, ATL, BTL Plan.

To execute joint event planning: in-store, roadshows.

Responsible to ensure that client interaction with Company is conducted in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Work closely with the cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Operation and Supply Chain Management) to ensure efficient and effective execution.

Continuously build market knowledge and refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ and above experience in trade marketing manager role.
