Job summary

Ambu A/S seeks a Total Rewards Manager in Penang, Malaysia, to lead compensation, benefits, and reward programs for Ambu Malaysia’s 2,000+ workforce. You will design, implement, and govern Total Rewards aligned with Ambu's global philosophy while ensuring equity and compliance.

You will partner with Global Total Rewards and the local People & Culture team to drive analytics, budgeting, benchmarking, and governance while modernizing processes and systems. Penang Global Hub experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, Reward Consulting, or similar specialized rewards role.
• Experience managing salary structures, annual compensation reviews, job evaluations, and market benchmarking.
• Experience designing and administering short-term incentive, bonus, and reward programs.
• Experience working in multinational organizations with complex workforce structures.
• Exposure to global Total Rewards frameworks and governance practices is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, localize, and govern global reward frameworks and initiatives.
• Lead the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, promotions, bonus planning, and market adjustments.
• Maintain salary structures, pay ranges, job grades, and reward governance frameworks.
• Ensure alignment of compensation practices with business strategy, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
• Provide market intelligence and reward insights to business leaders and HR stakeholders.
• Develop reward dashboards, reports, and analytics; model compensation budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local labor legislation, tax regulations, and governance requirements.
• Drive simplification, automation, and digitalization of Total Rewards processes.
