Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD is seeking a Regional Compensation & Benefits Manager to design, implement and lead total rewards programs that attract and retain talent across the region. Based in Bukit Minyak, Penang, you will partner with senior leadership to align compensation strategies with business goals and market data.

You will manage and optimize benchmarking, salary surveys, and compensation frameworks, leveraging data from Mercer, Hewitt, and WTW, while ensuring data privacy

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Typically requires 8+ years of professional management/direction experience in compensation and benefits in MNCs.
• Strong knowledge of salary benchmarking, compensation frameworks, and market surveys.

Regional Compensation & Benefits Manager

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aCompensation & Benefits Manager - Regional located inBukit Minyak, Penang.

General Purpose:

Develop, improve, and implement compensation and benefits programs that align with Business strategies and ensure the total rewards programs can attract and retain the required talents in the market at all levels. Investigate total rewards-related issues and propose solutions in a proactive and creative approach.

What a typical day looks like:

Design and deliver a multi-pronged Total Rewards (TR) communication strategy that will enable effective application of existing TR tools and processes across the organization.

Design initiatives that will strengthen the effectiveness of total rewards programs in driving performance, attraction, engagement, and retention of the workforce.

Provide functional leadership in Total Rewards to a composite team working to delivery HR strategy and support business success.

Excellent business acumen and demonstrated competency in business partnership.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior management and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Strong project management, process management, analytical and consulting skills.

Judgment, initiative, and tenacity demonstrated in an environment of rapid change.

Effective verbal and written communication skills accompanied with cultural sensitivity. Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills.

Demonstrates mastery of using market data resources and network for reports, methodologies, and findings to support TR projects and proposals, e.g. Mercer, Hewitt, WTW, or local market data supplier.
