Job summary

SYNTIANT MALAYSIA MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. seeks a maintenance technician to repair and service semiconductor assembly and test equipment on the SiSonic production line in Penang. You will perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and assist in projects with engineers.

Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering is preferred, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. Two-year contract position in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience on semiconductor assembly or test line.
• Ability to repair and suggest computer program improvements for most equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace parts on the assembly line and test equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on SiSonic equipment as specified.
• Construct production equipment and fixtures where required.
• Collaborate with production/development engineers and engineering personnel regarding problems and equipment design and program changes.
• Identify and evaluate equipment problems and propose solutions.
• Perform scheduled calibration of equipment in the SiSonic production line.
• Assist in identifying spare parts inventory issues and provide purchase requisitions as necessary.
• Assist Engineers in projects and perform other duties assigned.

Job description

Quickly repairs and replaces parts on assembly line and test equipment in the Sisionic production line. Provides overall maintenance support.

Performs preventative maintenance on all SiSonic equipment as specified.

Constructs production equipment and fixtures where required.

Collaborates with production/development engineers, industrial engineers and engineering personnel regarding production/development problems and equipment design and computer program changes.

Identifies and evaluates equipment problems and proposes solutions.

Performs scheduled calibration of equipment in the Sisonic Production line.

Assists in identifying spare parts inventory issues and provides purchase requisitions when necessary.

Assist Engineersin projects and perform other duties assigned from time to time

Job Specifications

Ability to repair and suggest computer program improvements for all or the majority of the following equipment.

Know automated and manual lamination presses, dicing saws, and automated test equipment in a high-volume semi-conductor manufacturing environment

Should have 1-2years of experience on semiconductor assembly or test line.

Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering is preferred

Contract position for 2 years
