Job summary

A leading electronics firm in Malaysia is seeking a qualified professional to ensure optimal functionality of testing fixtures and automation equipment. Responsibilities include repairing, upgrading, and maintaining fixtures, along with managing spare parts and overseeing inventory. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate/Diploma in Engineering and possess over 2 years of experience in fixture maintenance. Proficiency in debugging tools and familiarity with PCB testing processes are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fixture maintenance/testing environments.
• Experience in handling PCBA & SMT processes is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with automation equipment and PCB testing processes.

Job description

• Ensure optimal functionality of testing fixtures and automation equipment through maintenance, debugging, and inventory management.
• Support production efficiency by managing spare parts, fixture upgrades, and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, upgrade, and maintain testing fixtures.
• Debug, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance on fixtures.
• Manage spare parts (application, storage, inventory, and incoming inspections).
• Oversee warehouse/fixture/consumables/Golden Board management.
• Lead commissioning/acceptance of new fixtures and improvements.
• Maintain fixture maintenance ledger and report abnormalities.
• Conduct 5S/security audits and fixed asset inventories.

Qualifications Required

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field).
• 2+ years of experience in fixture maintenance/testing environments.
• Experience in handling PCBA & SMT processes is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with automation equipment and PCB testing processes.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Basic knowledge of SMT/PCBA testing standards.
