Job summary

ELX TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Test Operator to perform power-on checks, functional tests, and SOP-based procedures on electronic products. You will operate test rigs, calibrate, load firmware, and verify configurations in a structured production environment.

You will document test results, manage serial and batch data, and report anomalies promptly while supporting engineers with retesting and troubleshooting as needed. Shift or overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• SPM, SKM, Certificate or equivalent; electronics, electrical or mechatronics background preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter and verify test data.
• Able to strictly follow SOP and testing procedures.
• Basic electronics, ESD and safety awareness.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a repetitive production environment.
• Able to clearly report testing abnormalities.
• Able to work shifts or overtime when required.
• Experience with electronic product testing, calibration, firmware loading, test fixtures or environmental testing.
• Experience in camera, sensor, optoelectronics, instruments or electronics manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of multimeters or oscilloscopes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct signal, communication and image function checks and determine Pass/Fail based on defined standards
• Conduct temperature and other environmental testing when required
• Accurately record test data, serial numbers and batch information
• Identify, label and isolate abnormal or failed products and report issues promptly
• Support engineers with retesting, issue reproduction and basic troubleshooting
