Job summary

Mnosys Sdn Bhd is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and maintain production test programs, fixtures, and stations in Penang. You will perform product testing, analyze data, track yields, and conduct root-cause analysis to resolve defects.

You will set up and calibrate test equipment, collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams, and ensure quality standards and compliance across tests and reports. Fluency in Chinese is required for supplier communication.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior background in test engineering, electronics manufacturing, or semiconductors is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read schematics, use test/measurement equipment, perform data analysis, and apply troubleshooting methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Work Traits: Self-driven team player who is willing to support production line needs and overtime when required.
• Language Skill: Mandatory fluency in spoken Chinese to communicate effectively with suppliers in China.

Responsibilities

• System Development & Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain production test programs, procedures, fixtures, and stations.
• Testing & Analysis: Perform product testing, analyze data, track yields, and conduct root-cause failure analysis to resolve defects.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support for production line failures, implement corrective/preventive actions, and support NPI engineering builds.
• Equipment Management: Set up, validate, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and tools, evaluating new technologies as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement, yield enhancement, and cost reduction.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain test specs, work instructions, and reports, ensuring full compliance with quality and industry standards.
