Plays a key role in ensuring equipment, systems, or products operate efficiently and meet quality standards by performing routine maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, or electronic components.
Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing on products or assemblies.
Follow established test procedures and use test equipment (e.g.,multimeters, oscilloscopes, test jigs).
Log and analyze test data for compliance with specifications.
Identify and isolate product failures at the component or system level.
Use diagnostic tools and schematics to find root causes of failures.
Repair or replace defective components, or elevate issues to engineers.
Maintain accurate records of test results, repairs, and root cause analysis.
Report recurring issues to engineering or quality departments.
Update test logs, defect trackers, and debug reports.
Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), test WI’s, checklist, etc.
Set up and maintain test benches, fixtures, and diagnostic tools.
Calibrate and ensure proper operation of testing equipment.
Provide feedback to improve test procedures or product design.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to streamline debugging processes.
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
Support training of production operators on identifying basic faults or test failures.
Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
1–3 years of experience in product testing, debugging, or electronic/electrical repair (fresh graduates with strong practical skills are also welcome).
Good knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and basic mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test jigs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills at both component and system level.
Basic soldering/rework skills for PCB or electronic assemblies (preferred).
Familiarity with documentation practices: test logs, defect trackers, and SOPs.
Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with engineering and production teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or lab environment and perform shift or overtime if required.
